Hamilton First Aid offers re-cert programs for candidates that need to renew expiring standard first aid and CPR cards. This class is specifically designed for candidates that have previously completed a legitimate standard first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation training course and want to re-certify the license. The renewal certification is of equal worth as the initial cert and is also current for three years. CPR level “C” renewal is incorporated into this lesson. Class date, time and location is written down the page and applicants may fill out the application on-line. Re-Cert Prerequisites
Candidates have to meet the following stipulations ahead of applying for a standard first aid, CPR and AED re-cert class:
- Current certificate should be provided by a reputable St Mark James training provider.
- Last cert must have been provided in the past 3 years. In the event the certificate is over 3 years applicants will have to redo the original course.
- Participant may not take consecutive re-cert classes. For each “full” / regular course participants may take a re-certification class (if available).
Class Information about Standard First Aid and CPR Re-Certification
The fee for the class is — dollars. The price includes administration costs and taxes. The length of the class is approximately 8 hours as mandated by St Mark James. The program must be no less than eight hours no matter the candidate background or skill level.
Workplace Approved Accreditation
When candidates finish the skills component and written exam they’ll obtain a St Mark James standard 1st aid and CPR certificate which is valid for 3 years. This training course is provided with CPR level “C” re-certification. Please be sure to let us know if you wish to recertify another level of cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) in this course.
